mp_nofal is an all-purpose multiplayer map created using GtkRadiant for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The setting of No Falafel is in a middle-eastern strip home to a hotel, market, and the nefarious Widrett Intella-Systems; a cyber secruity contractor.

 

The design behind "No Falafel" is to give as many player movement options as possible in order to avoid the "three lane" and player trapping cliches. Every room a player enters has at least one other entrance to ensure players are not trapped; as well as, to keep campers on their toes.

 

The map as a whole is split by a road which will feature cover and the saturization of buildings on the northern part of the map is balanced by the sheer size of the Widrett building which covers the bottom of the level. 

 

Additionally, I wanted to showcase a smaller indoor/outdoor map to not only promote fast-paced action in an older CoD game, but also to make the level more interesting. I chose the middle-eastern setting because the majority of singleplayer missions take place in the Russian woodlands setting.
